Join us for our last round of community engagement to share your thoughts and ideas on potential countermeasures that can help make our streets safer and more accessible for everyone! These pop-ups will focus on systemic countermeasures, and policies and initiatives.

Systemic countermeasures refer to a comprehensive and coordinated approach to address traffic safety issues. These countermeasures aim to eliminate or mitigate the root causes of traffic crashes, injuries, and fatalities through engineering solutions.

Policies and initiatives refer to those countermeasures that do not include direct implementation of infrastructure improvements. These can include laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, educational programs, and enforcement strategies that are implemented to prevent or reduce traffic crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
